Maria da Glória Arruda has a Ph.D. in Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP), a Master’s degree in Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the same University. She has a postgraduate degree in Insurance and Reinsurance Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
Maria da Glória has solid experience in the legal field with a developed career. She worked as Legal Superintendent and Legal Head of the Civil, Labor, and Criminal Litigation areas in large financial institutions, such as Itaú and Santander. She also has expertise in the management of national legal planning, with a focus on civil litigation involving retail banking, labor, and social security.
Maria da Glória is the author of books that cover supplementary pensions topics, such as: “The Inapplicability of the Consumer Code in the Face of Closed Pensions” and “Open Private Pensions as a Consumer Relationship”, in addition to having several professional experiences in the USA, Spain, and Portugal in participation in global meetings and legal forums.
